Hi! We are Gerald & Tracey Rose, owners of Gypsy Rose Farm. We are breeders of AHCA Registered Scottish Highland cows and are excited to share our farm with you! The farm brings so many smiles to our family and we wanted to share them to hopefully bring a smile to your day as well!

Highlands are a great working breed for homesteaders and hobby farmers because they are a dual-purpose breed producing low cholesterol, tender, and lean meat. They aren’t picky eaters and can clean up a low-quality pasture or clear a wooded area that can then be converted into a shaded pasture for summer. They also make fantastic pets!

I love helping others!
I am a registered nurse that just got tired of living life thru the motions. I wanted more for my family and wanted to start this farm, teach my grandkids how to live by things we raise and grow right here on the farm. I took a big leap of faith, started an online home based business that allowed me to retire from nursing and start our farm.
I love how our farm provides for us in so many ways! Especially with our health and habits. I love sharing the things we are doing, the recipes I love and the products I use or we produce here on the farm.
